Hoylake Carnival Parade

Wirral Through the Ages

Saturday 15 July 2017

2pm – 3pm

Free event

Everyone loves a parade!

…when the streets come alive, traffic is stilled and people of all ages come together to celebrate everything that is great about where we live, work and play.

Wirral Festival of Firsts’ Community Parade has rapidly become an annual festival highlight. For a couple of hours in July, Hoylake’s Market Street, from Queens Road to Queens Park, is transformed as musicians, performers and local community and voluntary groups come together to celebrate and have fun.

This year’s theme is Wirral Through the Ages. Expect to see Vikings, fishermen, golfers and historic figures who have shaped our area – with maybe a glimpse of what Wirral residents of tomorrow will look like!

As before, we are delighted to be working in partnership with Hoylake and Meols in Bloom who welcome the parade in a family fun day at Queens Park.
